Self-Care at Home Auto-Atendimento em Casa

Home care is appropriate when a person is known to have seizures, if the seizure is brief, and if the person recovers uneventfully. Home care é apropriado quando uma pessoa é conhecida por ter as apreensões, se o arresto é breve e, se a pessoa recupera sem intercorrências.

Prevent injuries. Prevenir lesões.
- Cushion the head. Almofada na cabeça.
- Loosen any tight neckwear. Afrouxe qualquer gravatas apertadas.

- Observe these items: length of seizure, type of movements, direction of any head or eye turning, amount of time to return to alertness and full consciousness.
